I recently made some homemade violet petal syrup and it turned out great! I found violet petals and steeped them in a simple syrup made of sugar and water. After straining out the petals, I was left with a beautiful purple syrup that has a delicate floral flavor. I can't wait to use it in cocktails, lemonade, or drizzle it over desserts. It's such a lovely way to capture the essence of spring!
